Care
Levolor Honeycomb Shades are easy to live with because they require so little of you. Since the fabrics actually resist dust, dirt and stains, cleaning is a breeze. A simple feather dusting or light vacuuming with a brush attachment is all that is needed to keep Levolor shades looking beautiful.

When needed, Levolor Designer fabrics can be cleaned by gently blotting with a soft, damp cloth or sponge, using luke warm water and a mild detergent. Be careful not to apply too much pressure to the fabric.

Warranty
Backing each Levolor honeycomb shade is our lifetime limited warranty. In simplest terms, Levolor shades are guaranteed for as long as they cover your window.

Levolor honeycomb shades will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original retail purchaser owns the product, provided that (i) such products were properly installed in residential dwellings, and (ii) such products were made or assembled exclusively from Levolor materials and companies.

The obligation of Levolor and it's licensed fabricators and distributors is limited to repair or replacement of the shades or components found to be defective and excludes shipping charges and labor costs for measuring and installation. Repairs will be made with like similar parts.

To obtain warranty service, contact the dealer from whom you purchased the product. The dealer will work with the licensed Levolor fabricator who custom assembled the shade to promptly repair or replace any defective parts or components without charge. Warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase, as well as details regarding the nature of the problem, location of the shade, etc.

This warranty does not include any conditions or damages resulting from accidents alterations, misuse, abuse, motorized devices, or failure to follow our instructions with respect to measurement, installation, cleaning, or maintenance. This warranty also does not cover any condition or damage resulting from removal of the shade and reinstallation in the same or another window. Also please note that cords and fabric are excluded from the lifetime warranty guarantee: cords are covered for a duration of 3 years, and all fabric is covered for a duration of 5 years.

This warranty also does not apply to conditions caused by normal wear and tear upon the product.

Levolor Faux Wood Blinds
Care
Like any wood furnishings, faux wood blinds should be dusted regularly to keep them looking new. Use a soft, clean cloth, chemically-treated dust cloth, or dusting mitt. Lower the blind so it is full length, tilt the slats almost all the way down and dust. Then tilt the slats almost all the way up and dust. (Not fully closing the slats in either position allows dusting where the slats overlap.

Blinds may also be cleaned by vacuuming them with the brush attachment of a vacuum cleaner, using the procedure just described.

Faux wood blinds should be cleaned by wiping them with a soft, damp rag and mild detergent such as dish soap. Tilt slats as above and clean. Wipe off excess water with sponge. CAUTION: DO NOT rinse off or towel dry blind. Rinsing the blind with water or towel dry can disrupt the anti-static treatment placed on the slat. Disrupting this anti-static treatment will cause the blind slats to become soiled quicker. DO NOT bathtub clean for the above reasons.

Levolor Aluminum Blinds
Care
Use ordinary soft, clean dust cloths, chemically treated dust cloths, vacuum cleaner brush attachments, or other available ordinary household aids. The paint surface of the slats is quite smooth and dust is easily brushed off if done at regular intervals.
To vacuum, use the brush dust head attachment and tilt slats first up, then down (but not entirely exposed) to reach the entire top and bottom surfaces.
To dust, use a soft clean cloth or chemically treated dust cloth and tilt the slats as above.

To wash, use a damp cloth or sponge and mild detergent. Use warm or cold water - NOT hot water. Tilt the slats as above. Protect the floor or sill from excess water. The blind can also be taken down, placed in a bath tub of mild soapy water, then rinsed clean, wiped dry, or allowed to dry completely in the open air.

Levolor Wood Blinds
Care
Care must be taken when cleaning Levolor real wood blinds. Washing the blind is NOT recommended. Although the wood is sealed, water or even excessive dampness may cause warpage or discoloration of the slats. Since the surface of the slats is smooth, dust may be easily brushed off at regular intervals using a clean soft dust cloth or a vacuum cleaner brush attachment. Clean them as described above.

Levolor Vertical Blinds
Care
Your Levolor vertical blind seldom requires cleaning because the vanes hang vertically. However, all products and furnishings get soiled due to condensation, humidity, smoke and steam.

Fabric Vanes: Periodic feather dusting or vacuuming will keep the fabric fresh. Spot clean any stains by applying a mild soap and water solution with a sponge or cloth. Check color fastness first by cleaning an inconspicuous area of the vane. Do not machine wash or dry clean.

Vinyl Vanes: Apply a mild soap and cold or warm water solution with a soft cloth or sponge. Abrasive or strong cleansers may scratch or mar the vane's surface. Dry clean with a cloth towel to avoid water marks.
