odd fit on Anderson WindowThe blinds fit perfectly on single window applications but where I have 3 windows side by side they stick out to far from the window allowing light to enter from the sides. It would be very helpful to be able to enter an Anderson window part number and have a suggested configuration. My 3 windows are 3 sections in width covering 7 feet. It just doesn't look very professional.July 17, 2014

Best company ever!I wouldn't buy blinds from anyone else! This was our second purchase, and in both cases the blinds came in exactly as ordered and were an installation dream. Yes, you have to be able to mount the brackets, but then the blinds just snap in place! We made a measuring error on the second order for a bay window, but they were extremely helpful in getting that corrected. So, every aspect of their business was geared to my needs. You Can't Go Wrong WIth These ShadesI measured the windows chose the color and type of shade I wanted sent the info to Blinds.Com. Received the Order in a timely manner installed with no problems. The Shades were made perfect. The quality and the proper shipping containers in which i received the shades were well packaged all parts were identified well. Bali Solar ShadesThis is the second home I have put these shades in so that must tell you how much I like them. I buy the 10% shade and love the way they let in light. I have now mastered installation which wasn't hard once I slowed down and gave it some thought. The only thing I can't do myself is place an eight foot shade in the bracketsAugust 4, 2014
Really Difficult to Pull DownWe ordered a pair of custom-cut, room-darkening cordless blinds. The base kind produced by Blinds.com, I believe.They were easy to install (though the instructions were not very good), but while they go up just fine, they are very difficult to pull down. I have to use both hands to pull them down with considerable force. My wife cannot do it. The small plastic, center-mounted bracket in the middle comes off when we try that (its mounting is a problem, to be sure -- there is a design flaw there). And lastly, one of the blinds was slightly crumpled at the top, and continues to be even though I raise and lower the blinds each day in the hopes it will straighten out. No luck so far after a month.So I'd say this pair of blinds is very low on the scale of usability. Quite a disappointment, really. I considered returning the one that is slightly crinkled up top but it's such a hassle uninstalling, repackaging, and sending them that I chose not to. It's not a highly noticeable crumpling (unless you happen to be the person installing them, I suppose).May 1, 2014

Expensive1) Compare to quality, Blinds.com is expensiv.2) It offered to sell side channels without a valance. However, my installer refused to install side channel without one. He commented blinds.com should never have sold it without valance and, ideally, also not without a remote controlled motor. Per him, it is better to be purchased over phone or in shop than via online.June 30, 2014

greatI had some one who sell another brand come in and measure and give me an estimate for faux wood blinds with a valance, was quoted almost $500. My order from here was less than 150 for the same thing. Ordering was super easy. I made a mistake as I did not remeasure correctly when I need to make a valance adjustment after I contacted customer service for initial replacement. So it did cost me and extra fee, but as I said it was my error. Customer service was great a pleasure doing business with them.April 30, 2014
Great purchaseStaff are knowledgeable and more than helpful with all kinds of details, i.e., measuring, quality comparison, looking up past orders, custom help, etc. I am happy with all products purcased and would not only recommend them to others but have purchased many additional items over time. Life is good when you can get help from cyberspace. Many brick and mortar stores with live help are helpless and their employees are not only not helpful but are often misleading and innocently direct one to the wrong product or give false information because of a lack of knowledge, an inability of them to say they don't know, poor training, etc. I am happy with blinds. comFebruary 9, 2014
norman woodlore plantation shuttersThe norman woodlore shutter is a timeless window covering that not only looks great but is energy efficient. I installed these in my last home and when I recently moved it was an easy decision for my wife and I to choose this product again. they block the draft in the winter and do an incredible job of keeping the heat out in the summer. After 8 years in my last home, there was no warping, or fading in color. Installation is definitely doable for the average DIY. I have installed both outside mount and inside mount with no issues. Generic blinds bad qualityFirst purchased the generic cellular cordless shades. Ok to mount, but after the first use they malfunctioned. Was unable to raise them to the top. Each successive try left them even worse. Called company and was promptly given a credit for my purchase. At that point I lacked confidence in the product and ordered Graber to replace the blinds.com generic model. Very happy with the quality and the function of the replacement Graber blinds.
