Must Have HardwareSolid and clean look with these pewter tiebacks. Easy to install with only two screws and pulls back drapes beautifully.December 23, 2014
OK TiebackI bought this tieback to go with my wrought iron curtain rod for a rear sliding door. While this does not from the same style as the rod, it is a great match. Big thanks to Seth H. for providing great support over the phone to match my product. This is a pretty solid tieback to hold my 90" X 55" drape. The problem is with the installation. The flat part of the tieback that has the screw holes does not sit flush against the wall, due to the rounded tube part of the tie back hitting the wall. This makes it tough to get a flush and level fit against the wall, and involved a little more eyeballing than I like to do.The other problem was with the hollow wall anchors that were provided. The are too big and too weak for such a small screw, that my installation was pretty wobbly. After pulling, patching, and re-painting, I used smaller and sturdier anchors, and now it sits great. So get different (shorter and smaller) anchors and expect the rounded part of the tieback to hit the wall instead of the inside screw hole part of the flat piece, and it's not a bad addition.March 19, 2015
