The NEW Ultimate 2 1/2" Fauxwood Blind comes standard with non-slip the patented SmartPrivacy slats for perfect privacy and slat closure.

The SmartPrivacy slats set them apart from other fauxwood blinds because they have smaller holes, which are concealed when the blinds are closed. This keeps the blind slats from moving and provides tighter closure, enhanced privacy and better light control.

A smooth operating cord tilt system provides a lifetime of trouble free use. All blinds are come with a new Cord Release Device designed to breakaway when pulled apart for a safer option for homes with children.
All blinds come standard with a 3 designer valance and invisible clips. Two return sizes are included to accommodate all installation situations, or choose to have a straight cut valance for a flush mount. An engineered trapezoid bottom rail, along with the SmartPrivacy feature, allows this blind to close tighter than any other fauxwood blind on the market. This tight closure provides more light blockage for more energy savings and a darker room when tilted closed.

"I ordered blinds for each room in our home and was amazed at how easy they were to install. I am a stay at home mom of two girls (under three years old) and was able to install them with rugrats at my feet. Also, they are beautiful and such a great quality.
I accidentally didn't measure my living room blinds correctly (they were 2 inches too long) and when I called the customer service department they were so friendly and quickly took care of helping me reorder the blinds at a discounted rate. The new order came in within five days and I installed them in a few minutes.
I can't recommend them enough. I consider myself a picky shopper and would leave honest feedback no matter my experience with the company...I am honestly happy with the entire experience."

"I recieved them with everything as ordered ... I installed them on two sets of french doors ... it took me about 3.5 hours to install all four panels ... they look wonderful ... easy to install just follow the directions ... saved a bunch doing it myslf !!!!"

"We have purchased other faux wood plantation blinds and find that this was a nice blind that was very easy to put up. Because of the narrowness of our window, (13") it was difficult to find blinds that would fit in a store. I LOVED the ease of ordering and the reasonable price for a custom-sized blind. "First, I'm a car guy and don't know the proper terms so please bear with me. i've put in blinds before, but would rather be working on a car.
We got seven of the two inch blinds in silk white. I would suggest that color for most since it's not a bright white and matches most walls. The "headboard" has a low satin finish and the blinds have less sheen that that. Bottom line, there's no unwanted reflection.
The blinds work very smoothly in all operating modes and they aren't "noisy" like the aluminum blinds we replaced. I like the fact that you can't see though the blinds, no small cord holes like most. Make sure you measure the top opening of the window. I measured the middle like an idiot and two of the headboards (inside mount) were about 1/8" too long. This was not blinds.com fault, and I used a miter box to trim them down.
A couple of very minor issues; the mounting screws are philips head not 1/4" as I think was indicated. I would have preferred 1/4' heads since they are easier to use. Also, we didn't care for the clear plastic cord cleats that came with the blinds and will be buying metal.
The headboards mount well. This is hard to explain but make sure the metal mounts are "squared up" when you install them. If the metal mounts are "bent down" your headboard will hang lower than it should. It's an easy fix, just bend the mounts back where they should be.
The customer service at blinds.com is excellent. She was very informative, friendly, and patient. We will be buying more through them. I highly recommend these blinds and blinds.com."

"I was looking for good blinds on a budget but it is really hard to do that with strange window widths and lengths. Received these blinds very fast and I was very impressed with the accuracy to the window fit and the quality went beyond my expectations. The installation was easy and took very little time. I read a few complaints about installation and I would have to say if you have the right tools it is very easy to install these blinds."

"Blinds look very attractive. I have a river view from windows, so wide 2 1/2" slats allow for nice view, even when down.
However, be aware that at a width of 74", the blinds are VERY heavy to pull up & down. At 37", they are no problem."

"The window blinds came very quickly. They were just the right size, color and quality. Installing them was fast and very easy. The vertical blinds for the patio door came a couple days later and, to my surprise, were even faster and easier to install than the window blinds. The only problem I've encountered is the vertical blinds build up static and stick together creating gaps that don't look very good and violate ones privacy. Is there a cure for that?"

"Good service and good product. I have to trim 3 out of 3 of the trim piece and my window opening were not square so I have to trim other pieces. Just wished I had more clearance on each side,not a big deal,I can make it work."
