It is available as a Sunburst Arch, a Slatburst Arch, a Blackout Arch and a Movable Arch. Sunburst Arches filter soft light to enhance your arched window. Their " slat openings allow approximately 15% of the sunlight into your room. A unique outside flush-mount design insures a goof-proof easy installation, without brackets. The Slatburst Arch has been engineered with 1/8" angled slat openings that filter out approximately 92% of direct sunlight. They allow a minimum amount of angled light inside the room while reflecting out most of the heat. Blackout Wood Arch resembles the Sunburst Wood Arch, except the slat openings are not cut through the arch; therefore, all light is blocked. It's a great arch treatment to darken any room and provide energy efficiency. The instalation brackets had to be replaced 3x. There is a big ugly seem down the middle of the arch. If you want blinds under this arch there will be a gap between the arch and the blind. There is no way to install them without a gap. UGLY AND CHEAP!!!" We ordered in the mahagony color to match the cabinets in our newly remodeled bathroom. We had a quote from Lowes for Plantation Shutters for $1300.00. I was able to get the look I wanted for less than $400.00. Much more affordable! They are not Planation, but look fabulous. We had to have the blinds specially cut because we have tile near the bottom of the window. I called and the customer service rep was awesome. I gave him my measurements and he helped me order the correct size. They look wonderful, were easy to install, fit PERFECT and the service was quick and extremely good! I will use blinds.com again and recommend to all my friends." The 'wood' fibrearch is incredibly ugly and doesn't seem to be wood in any form that's familiar to me. It arrived broken, and even if it wasn't broken, it would have been returned. It is a grotesque product I would even think of having in my home. It didn't fit. I suppose it was because my opening was not a "perfect" arch. Luckily, I worked through a Blinds.com operator and didn't have to eat that arch. Determined, I went back to Blinds.com other arches. This time insisting that I make a paper template of the opening. Arrangements were made to send it to a subcontractor of Blinds.com for manufacture. After 3 weeks it came, but didn't fit the opening again and not color-matched to the plantation shutters in place as promised (it was more grey/white). Fortunately, I am handy. I had to shave off nearly 3/4 inch in spots with my jigsaw and then belt sand it after that. Finally, I had to take an example shutter to Lowe's to colormatch the white. I found that their Valspar Ultra White semi-gloss a very close match and painted it." 6 of 7 people found this review helpful.
