I opted for the kind with one main rod and two shades hanging from it. That way I can operate each shade independently. One thing I would change was that in the dimensions, it said the two shades would have a 1" separation between them. They don't. So when I move the blinds up or down I have to take extra care, but it's not a big deal. It works great and was really easy to install. I was able to do it by myself but it would have been easier to have another set of hands. Everything was packed nicely so it arrived in good condition." The roman shades look and fit wonderful. We ordered two shades, the only problem we encountered, they were shipped separately, one arrived one day, then one the next day, but no big deal, of course the one that arrived first didn't have the mounting hardware. Like I said no big deal as the order was timely processed and filled."
