The parts for seven windows came in one box, which made a huge pile, and the instructions were almost useless. But once we figured out the first window we went through all seven without a hitch and finished everything in about four hours. I did the whole front side of my house -- two doors, five windows, some up to 6' wide, and they all look great. Be careful about the size of the blinds, though. I had 5" window insets and the 2.5" blinds fit easily, but they handle differently than smaller ones, they are harder to turn, etc. The light wood color goes with every room and allowed me to present a coherent image from the street, something we sometimes don't think about." I recommend fully extending them before mounting them on the brackets. This makes sure that the cords on top are not hung up. Mine were until I used a knife to free the stuck latch on top."
