In 2008, I was recruited to work for Blinds.com from a competitor that did not believe in me. Four months later, my supervisors approached me because they wanted me to shadow the person who helped with elevated issues. My supervisor Sharon told me that she had her eye on me that one day I would be a star. A year after being at Blinds.com, I was promoted to a Customer Service Team lead. I was put in special classes and a 90 day road map meeting (That was insane!!!). Blinds.com empowered me to speak up, give my opinions and to be challenged to go further than I could ever even imagine. My supervisor mentored me and went out of her way to teach me things that would help me in the future. A year later, a supervisor position became available and I knew this is what I wanted (and surprise, I got it!). My success has sky rocketed it's almost unimaginable. Every day I learn something new.
