Corrina, one of Blinds.com's customer care specialists, shares why she considers her coworkers her family.

Last year, I was experiencing some excruciating back pain. So much so, I was given a cane to use when I walked. Jay and the staff at Blinds.com would consistently ask how I was doing and if there was anything they could do for me. To my surprise, Blinds.com offered to have an ergonomic evaluation done on my desk to help me be more comfortable while at work. I was shocked that a company would be willing to do this for me and I was happy at their offer to do so. I have never worked for a company that is as considerate to their employees as Blinds.com is. As an employee, I realize how much a company can be like an actual "family." I can honestly say, I love my family — both my immediate family and my work family and I thank the company for allowing me to be who I am, and offers me constant support in whatever I am going through.
