Not as describedI ordered these for my bedroom because the product details described them as "semi-sheer". In actuality, these are not "semi" sheer at all. They are completely sheer, as in you can see through them (see photo). At night, when the light is on in the bedroom, anyone outside could easy see in. Not to mention that in the morning, they let too much light in. I don't want blackout curtains, because I do want some light, but I also don't want see-through. That's why I ordered "semi-sheer" - something that let's some light in, but isn't see-through. Even the packaging says that it lets light through while maintaining privacy. In reality, you will not have privacy with these curtains. I know what semi-sheer is because I found curtains that are somewhere between opaque and transparent, in retail stores. The reason I ordered from blinds.com is because they have the 72" length, which is hard to find.On a positive note, they do look nice with the tuxedo pleats (even though the material is flimsy), so I least I can use these curtains in a room where privacy isn't a concern.January 29, 2015
