Our Elite 1" Aluminum blinds products feature a heavy-duty line of stamped metal and injection molded plastic components. Providing for maximum strength and resistance to corrosion, 8-gauge aluminum alloy slats create a spring reaction that resists dents or bends in the aluminum slats. All aluminum slats have a signature pre-coating, which acts as an anti-static dust repellent with color coordinating headrails.. To ensure product reliability, all aluminum blind headrails and bottomrails are made of phosphate treated steel, finished with a vinyl primer and a top layer of polyester baked coating.

This product complies with CPSC child safety guidelines. If you have children in your home on a regular basis, CPSC recommends the use of cordless window coverings.

"I would not have made this purchase if the shipping costs were up front, as they were within a few dollars of the blind price. After recieving the blinds and mounting them..(the controls were on right and left instead of both on right as ordered), the blinds wouldnt close and open..I took them down and found the shaft wasn't connected. After reconnecting shaft and setting locking collar. I re-installed and they work o.k. except they don't raise and lower smoothly withiut assistance...ya gotta yank 'em to get 'em down. Other than that.....they're o.k."

"Very good delivery and packaging. Good quality product with the exception of the mounting brackets. In order to complete the installation, you had to push up on the blind assembly until it "clicked in". The brackets were too thin and bent easily when trying to push up and back. Some brackets now bent backwards and still not attached properly. Kept bending back into shape but seemed to have lost the spring action required to complete.
Better mounting process would make for a great product and install.

"I purchased a house full of window shades when I bought my new house. It was easy ordering them on line and even tracking there shipments. When they arrived- they came in good shape except for 2 or 3 shades - they had been wrapped too tight and the top of the shades were a little bent. But it was not all that visable since I will be putting up valances over the top fo them- Did not want the hassle of returning the ones that were bent. Overall I am very pleased with the quality and the looks of my mini blinds. I did get 2 2" faux wood shades also - they look really good and fit nicley into the windows. Which I could have used 2" all over - but couldn't. Very please with my purchase."

"Wow! I have purchased "economy" blinds before, but never had them appear so obviously...cheap! One of the blinds needed to be tweaked - the octagonal rod that pivots the slats had not been inserted through the geared spool. Most blinds have a plastic guard around the sharp edges of the hole from which the cords hang, but they must have run out of them on the day these were manufactured.
I was also disappointed to discover that the blinds had not been labeled with their individual specs.
