Bali blinds LightBlocker 6 gauge aluminum blinds combine great value with the most popular mini blind features on the market. These miniblinds feature more slats than most, allowing them to close tighter and block more, but not all, light. Get the optional Privacy option with hidden rout holes to block even more light.

The unique No Valance Headrail gives these window blinds a clean, smooth appearance and is color-coordinated for a custom look. And it gives the Lightblocker its name, with a light-blocking lip under the headrail, just above the top slat.

Precision rollers make these aluminum blinds raise and lower in a smooth, effortless fashion. Bottom rail bumper pads provide cushioning and prevent scratching between the bottom rail and the window sill. These Bali blinds are easy to install and maintain. Bali's advanced finish resists dust, stains, scratches, and bacteria. 6 gauge aluminum slats are durable and economical. LightBlocker mini blinds are backed by Bali's Limited Lifetime Warranty.

This product complies with CPSC child safety guidelines. If you have children in your home on a regular basis, CPSC recommends the use of cordless window coverings.

Money well spentThis was a big purchase but we took the chance and are very glad we did! They look and are great.Ordered them on line and they were delivered just as they said they would, on time and in tact.Excellent purchase.June 23, 2013
Lighblock blinds, really don't block lightThese blinds appear to be quite ordinary, like something I could have picked up at Lowes or Home Depot. Not only do the holes for the chords allow light through (I expected that), but they do not close tightly enough to block the light bouncing off the white color. Also, the separate pull chords with beads are not an effective way to pull up the blinds. They are not bad, they are simply ordinary from a custom source.April 17, 2013
Best Blinds everWe purchased 7 - Bali 1" mini blinds,, light blocker, 6 ga in Fawn Pearl color. These blinds were to replace mini blinds bought and installed locally that were 3x's the price of these Bali blinds with less than 1/2 the quality. Installation was so very easy, the new snap in brackets make putting up a blind virtually mistake free! We just did all the windows in our home, but if there were more windows to do, these are the people I would order from. Customer Service Dept. has dedicated people who care about your order or problem and they will fix it as fast as they can to your satisfaction. You cannot go wrong ordering blinds from blinds.com; they are really the best that can be!Highly recommended!!!August 19, 2010
Just what I wantedThe 1" Lightblocker Mini Blinds we ordered from Blinds.com were the perfect solution to a difficult decorating issue. We chose brushed aluminum blinds to acheive an "office" look for our son's room. He'd grown up and out of the wall paper border race car look and wanted clean modern lines. The Blinds.com website had great pictures that made choosing the right blind for the room as easy as going to a showroom. As our son is disabled, it was so much easier for him to shop online! He was able to have a voice in the decision, and he chose the lightblocker blinds. Well, the blinds arrived quickly and were the exact dimensions ordered. They were unbelievably easy to install, and look so great that we haven't even added a valance or other window treatment. The Lightblocker Mini Blinds do block light (and heat & cold). The look great from both inside and outside. The very best thing about the blinds was the price. I couldn't come close to that bargain, and I shopped both online and in stores - showroom, department & discount. I have recommended www.blinds.com to friends and family, and I have the website bookmarked so that I don't forget where we got such a great product for a great price. Thanks!November 14, 2006
OK, for the price....butFirst...Blinds.com does a great job and offers a superb site with the lowest costs.Second...If I had to do it again I would prefer the heavier guage Bali blinds not the lightweight 6 guage as the slats are easy to bend when dusting. But Bali doesn't offer the same single piece head frame with the heavier blinds, as far as I know...they have the old fashion two slats head frame...but check this out as they may change the head frame.Third...Bali's instructions and template are on a piece of paper that you can't hold up to drill the hole without the paper bending down, and then the hole drilling tears the template paper.....the solution is to send a plastic template...come on Bali, don't be so cheap!Fourth...the chrome clips show on the outside of the house and it doesn't look so great with black aluminum windows. The clips to hang the blinds are a little on the cheap side but they do work.I live by myself and am 70 yrs old and installed the blinds pretty much without a hitch, but I'm not sure how these great looking but lightweight blinds would do with children or dogs and cats that like to look out the window...yikes!I put Bali blinds in all my windows with the hunter green color and they do look great for the price...and again, Blinds.com got the job done well!May 23, 2011
Better than expectedThese blinds were easy to install and work smoothly. The light blocking feature is nice and foes help.July 13, 2014
Poor qualityUnfortunately I'm am very disappointed with the blinds. Poor quality. Extremely thin and fragile, especially for the price. I would expect to see these at Big Lots for around $10 each. I purchased aluminum privacy blinds from J C Penny several years ago and they are much thicker and higher quality and were also cheaper in price than yours, and that included the privacy holes. Unfortunately they don't carry them anymore. I guess you live and learn. Never buy sight unseen from an unknown company online. I reluctantly kept the blinds and hung them because they are for a bedroom and won't be handled much. Also I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning them. I will probably never order from your website again based on the poor quality product vs. price. I was expecting a much higher quality product for the price than what I received.October 4, 2013
Ahhhh-mazing!!I am extremely pleased with the 1" Bali Lightblocker mini blinds. We could see the room darkening with each new blind my husband installed (which BTW, was a complete breeze!) as the old blinds were being replaced; and we have 8 patio windows/doors to cover!I spoke with a customer service rep before placing the order (to verify correct measuring procedures) and she was super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.I am one happy camper!!July 5, 2012
The quality is very cheap. The rod is so thin and little you have a hard time opening it up. The strings are not tied together so don't roll them up it might break. This was the first time I was disappointed with the company. I feel the customer service was not honest with me when she compared it with my hunter Douglas blind I bought a few years ago. It not even close to the same quality. Don't waste your money on this blind.July 2, 2012
Outstanding ServiceWe recently bought 6 blinds for our new construction. We had the dimensions backwards for one of the blinds (of course, the largest blind!) and Blinds.com sent us the correct size at NO CHARGE under the "Sure Fit" guarantee! The lady I spoke to was extremely professional and apologetic....for my (well, my husbands ;o error) The folks at Blinds.com recommended that we donate the blind we ordered in error. Also, the blinds also only cost about 1/2 of what I paid before at a large chain home improvement store for the same exact blind....and they were delivered to our door! Outstanding Service in Every Way! I will definitely be back, and recommend blinds.com to all of my friends and family! I am impressed with this company!! Thank You Blinds.com! OUTSTANDING!!!April 3, 2012
This was so simple, don't know why I was so scared about the installation, did a call and got the help I needed and no problems. Thank you. Now thinking of ordering some more in the very near future.June 7, 2014
Good Value for the MoneyI purchased 5 window blinds for a single room, a single and 2 double on a single headrail. The blinds fit perfectly and the orientation of the tilt and raise/lower controls were exactly as specified. I thought this purchase to be a good one for the money. You can buy better blinds and more expensive blinds, but these were exactly the proper value for the money for me. I bought the light blocking feature and that works extremely well, allowing only light around the "edges" of the slats. Were they going to be raised/lowered each day, I might have selected a more expensive unit, but they are "down" and almost closed 99% of the time.December 28, 2012
Wish I'd knownI thought that since theses were lightblocker shades that the light wouldn't come through the routing holes..wrong!.May 31, 2014
CarefulIf selecting an outside mount you shouldn't have any problems and they are a good price/quality.If an inside mount, be aware that they are read mounts that you clip the blind into. Not the easiest to install or mount the blind into. Also, the mounting clips cannot fit over the pully mechanism in the top of the blind so you will not be able to install the mounting clips at the far end of each side - only the side you don't have the blind cord on, the other will be 1/3 of the way in. Test before drilling.March 14, 2012
Consistently, the best...We ordered blinds for our new home and were thrilled when they arrived so quickly, everything was perfect and they were so easy to install! Of course they look and function perfectly, too. Then, a short time later, our dog ate several slats! So, again we ordered and again all went so well. Now, here I am again. The dog ate slats on 2 blinds and I need to order again! It's with complete confidence that I do so. Thanks Blinds.com for making it so easy. We have referred this site to many family and friends.September 1, 2007
Very nice productReplacing 20 year old 2" blinds I was unsure about the 1" size being able to block the light as well. Ordered these based on the "ligthblocker" name and upgraded to the privacy option and they block the light very well, even better than the old ones. Installation took less than 10 minutes, and they look great. The only minor complaint would be that the tilt wand is a bit on the skinny side, but otherwise a very nice product!October 17, 2012
happy with purchasethese blinds look great, my husband, my blinds installer said they were easy to install, the instructions were clear, and they went up just as the instructions said. My husband has installed lots of blinds in our houses through the years, he said these went up the best! There is no one more critical of workman ship etc. than him, so this is saying alot.December 26, 2012
Beyond expectetionsSuper easy install...literally 5 minutes per blind, if you have a drill or screwgun. They look amazing. I got the mettalic color, and it just looks terrific. The quality of the finish, the mechanism, everything is just perfect.Good job...this is top of the line...not to mention the price, which was REALLY low given the benefits. Thanks againApril 14, 2012
Our MistakeThe blinds are beautiful. Unfortunately, we should have purchased a liner. The blinds diffuse the light, but allow much more sunlight than we would like to come into our room. Also, at night with lights on in the room, the blinds do not offer much privacy. If you want more privacy, we would recommend you purchase blinds with a liner.March 19, 2008
Another great purchaseThis is a THIRD purchase for us from Blinds.com. Tiny honeycomb accent shades; wood/twig? shades to match existing; and now the mini blinds. We have been very happy with all items. No problems, no returns, just good looking windows. Thanks to all.December 20, 2012
