5 Trending Color Palettes Your Home Needs for Fall

We’re loving Pantone’s forecast for the colors of fall 2017 because they’re not just the traditional brown and orange. Here are 5 non-traditional fall color palettes to give your home some seasonal flair.

1. Neutrals and Metallics

A neutral palette with lots of textures is trending BIG right now for home decor. If you’ve already embraced this look, you can easily give your space some fall flair with warm-hued metallic accents like copper, rose gold and brass.

The hot accessory for fall (and many seasons beyond) is an amber mirror. We’re seeing it pop up in a lot of retailers and it’s the perfect way to embrace this metallic look.

2. Mauve and Teal

For a moodier take on fall decor, bring in these soft, dark tones. Rich textures like velvet and glossy paint will give this toned down palette dimension.

Use this color scheme to create an easy tablescape with seasonal florals in mauve and accessories like tapers and glassware in teal.

3. Navy and Yellow

This versatile fall color pairing can go bright or dark. For an airy look, punch up a mostly white room with dark navy and soft autumnal mustard.

For a bolder look, go full jewel tone. An almost-black navy and vibrant gold create a cozy, but statement-making space.

4. Blush and Maroon

For a trendy look that’s got a global feel, try blush and maroon. Pink spaces are everywhere due to this shade of blush being dubbed “Millennial Pink.” The youthful hue gets toned down and feels fitting for fall when paired with rich burgundy.

5. Behr’s In The Moment + Orange

Behr has announced their first ever color of the year for 2018, and it’s In The Moment, a soft seafoam. Even though 2018 is a few months off, we think this color is perfect for fall when paired with orange and coral accents.
