Serene Bathroom Makeover on The Happier Homemaker
Our friend Melissa is an amazingly creative DIYer and decorator who shares tutorials, recipes, and inspiration on her blog, The Happier Homemaker. Melissa has been focusing her design energy on a bathroom makeover over the last few months. She has the prettiest garden tun and chose to update the wall color with a soft powder blue (after having it taped for a few weeks and finally getting around to it – preach sister).
As you can see the bathroom gets natural light and a stunning view of the wetlands from this nice, big window. However, when her neighbors started a remodel project that opened up the view to the bathroom she decided to start shopping for a window covering…
After her consultation with one of our designers, Michelle decided that this flat roman shade was the perfect solution. The softly draping folds and natural fabric blend seamlessly with the relaxed vibe of her space, and the Top Down – Bottom Up lift system allows her to maintain privacy without losing the view. Hear what Michelle’s had to say in her bathroom makeover post.

Michelle’s latest creation, a Popsicle Stick Starburst Mirror has just taken the top spot on our crafting to do list. Our trigger fingers are already itching for the glue gun.
