Fall Wall Art from The Local Cook
Wendy, blogging diva behind The Local Cook, writes about natural cooking, gardening, and home decorating. Did you catch her fab video about how to make a DIY upholstered cornice?
With her Silhouette cutting tool in hand, Wendy has become a vinyl decal pro. She created this beautiful fall wall hanging to adorn her newly remodeled three season porch. We’re sure many fall evenings will be spent there with a book and a cup of tea. Beautiful job Wendy, your design truly captures the essence of fall.
The best part is that the vinyl stickers can be peeled off each season to make room for a new design! Read more about Wendy’s design.
Roll-Up Kiddo Canvas from Shop With Me Mama
Creative mama Kim writes at Shop with Me Mama to help deal-savvy moms across the country save money for their family. When faced with this challenge she let her 5 year old daughter get in on the designing action. Here’s what she had to say:
“She was soooo excited when I told her to go create something awesome! She is only 5 years old, so this was so neat for her. I loved watching her face and expressions when she was creating her roller shade. This roller shade will be a keepsake for years to come, because my daughter designed it!”
Adorable job Kim and Presley! We love that you drew Blinds.com as a tiki hut on the beach. We wish we could wiggle our toes in the sand while we worked every day! See more from Kim in her privacy window coverings review, and at Shop With Me Mama.

Seaside Wall Art with Frugally Green Mom
As a kid, wouldn’t you love to design your own window coverings? April let her little miss have at it to create a mixed media design to hang in her room. Because the frugally green family has recently moved to the beach, the kindergartner collected shells from right outside for her beach scene.

Geometric Ombre with Design Thoughts
Interior designer extraordinaire Kim, writes at Design Thoughts. She’s an avid DIY-er and flexed her freehand painting muscles with this bright cheerful design. On her blog, she gives an honest account of her first attempt (a self proclaimed fail), but luckily roller shades have two sides, so we got to see this lovely design.
