Blinds for Trapezoid Windows

Abigail Sawyer | 21 Apr 2015 | Specialty Shapes

Trapezoid windows, also called angle-bottom or angle-top windows are often found along the roofline above traditional rectangular windows. Because of their odd shape, they can be a particular challenge to cover, but there are a few options we recommend.

Please Note: Odd shaped shades or shutters cannot be ordered online without the help of a Blinds.com designer. Give us a call at 800-505-1905 and we'll help you measure your windows and place your order.

Shutters for Trapezoid Windows

Shutters are the best option for odd shaped windows because they can be custom made to fit any opening. Plus, the louvers can still be fully operable and you get some adjustable light control. Custom shape wood shutters can be made to match any paint color - even if you ordered them from someone else.
