Here are a few of our favorite designers, remodelers and DIY amateurs who are all creating beautiful homes and blogging about it. Design blogs are our favorite place to find inspiration, especially when they're run by innovative, decorating geniuses like these three. Enjoy!
Little Green Notebook
Jenny Komenda is a New York based Designer who has been featured in Elle Decor, Vogue, Better Homes and Gardens, and tons of other big name publications. We love that she takes unruly spaces and makes them look crazy chic. A perfect example is her tiny NYC bedroom (pictured above) that she transformed into a space to remember with Bavarian Forest walls and a coral velvet headboard.
Plus, she gives awesome tutorials that look like designer quality but are super cost conscious like the nightstand pictured above and these DIY roman shades made from aluminum blinds.
7th House On The Left
7th House On The Left follows the home decorating adventures of Greg and Ashley, a web developer and graphic designer respectively. They have a colorful, modern, rustic style and are SO on trend. Look at their incredible new kitchen above! We're especially loving the woven wood roman shades that coordinate with their dark wood floors.
They do an amazing job of balancing his and her design loves to create simple, harmonious spaces for all genders. This is something we've been grappling with lately, but they've definitely got it right.
I Heart Organizing
Do you drool over elfa products or get weak in the knees when you see a perfectly organized pantry? Not all organization is practical in the long run, but Jen is a good example of what we all aspire to be. She has tips and tricks for storing nearly everything, and she does it all in stylish ways! We'll be making her decorative sheet metal earring holder very soon.
