Q:
I see minimum inside mount depth and fully recessed inside mount depth mentioned on your website. What do these mean and what is the difference? -Carla I.
A:
The minimum inside mounting depth is shallowest window frame depth that will allow you to mount your blinds safely.
However if you mount in a window with only the minimum depth the blinds or shades will stick out of the window beyond the molding.
The fully recessed inside mounting depth is the amount of space needed for the shade to be installed and not protrude beyond the window molding.
