Accounts Payable Manager

As AP Manager, you are responsible for ensuring the timely payment of over 330,000 invoices generated at GCC annually and taking advantage of all early payment discounts. As AP Manager you are also going to ensure an efficient AP Process, provide reconciliations to vendors, track and review expenses in detail weekly and guard the company´s expense policy.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise payables process from invoice generation to payment
  • Supervise and review Non-Product expenses weekly
  • Provide detailed reconciliations to vendors on invoices and payment history
  • Safeguard the company expense policy
  • Manage and track fixed asset purchases and amortization schedules
  • Review company-wide expenses and code to GL based on GAAP standards
  • Assist in keeping an audit friendly environment for payables process and expense trails
  • Work in conjunction with Finance & Operations to update company metrics
  • Manage product cost invoice discrepancies weekly and follow through with vendors
  • Assist in financial close monthly
  • Train and develop payables team


  • Bachelor´s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Excel
  • 3-4 years of Accounting experience
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience
  • Great Plains experience a plus
  • IT systems understanding a plus
  • Ability to solve complex problems and reconciliations

Working Environment

General office environment with primary responsibilities being clerical/administrative. At times, the position can become physical by lifting 15+ lbs, pulling, packing, sorting, etc. The working environment is generally favorable with lighting and temperature adequate with no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Overall, this position is sedentary in nature. This individual will be seated in a cubicle environment for most of the time. Work is generally performed in the office environment, with standard office equipment.
