Care
The following cleaning instructions have been developed for the fabric used in pleated shades.

Remove the pleated shade from the window, open the shade and lay it out on a clean, flat surface, such as a counter or table top.

If the shade is dusty, simply vacuum over it using an upholstery attachment.
For cleaning fingerprints or soiled spots on pleated shades, we recommend using an aerosol spray foam upholstery or fabric cleaner, such as Woolite™ or ScotchGard™ upholstery cleaners.

Spray the foam cleaner over the entire areas to be cleaned. Immediately scrub the area with a clean, damp sponge (back and forth gently in the direction parallel to the pleats in the fabric) until the stains are removed. If necessary, the entire shade may be cleaned in this fashion. Be careful not to crush or wrinkle the fabric.

Remove the excess water from the fabric by patting with a clean, dry towel. Hang the shade up when completely dry.

Frequent cleaning may tend to remove the fullness and body of the pleated fabric.
Due to the differences in Ultrasonic cleaning operations, we cannot recommend this method of cleaning.

Graber CrystalPleat Cellular Shades
Care
Graber cellular shades are easy to keep looking fresh and new for years. Regular dusting with a feather duster is recommended. When necessary, fabric can be lightly vacuumed with a brush attachment.

IF the cellular shades become soiled with topical dirt (i.e., dirt that is resting on the surface of the fabric), we recommend that the shade be spot cleaned using a soft rag or sponge, a mild detergent and warm water. Extra care should be used when cleaning Cocoon fabrics as the fabric could be permanently crushed.

When it is necessary to clean the entire shade, the shade should be removed from the window and immersed in a tub filled with warm water and a mild detergent. (Do not attempt this if your shade features the optional EasyUp Lift System, AutoVue, other specialty features, or Cocoon fabric.) Gently wash with a soft rag or sponge. Rinse the shade with clean water. Close the shade and tilt to allow excess water to drain. Reinstall the shade, lower it and allow it to dry.

Due to the differences in ultrasonic cleaning operators, we cannot recommend this method of cleaning.

Care
Aluminum Louvers: Can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
Vinyl Louvers: Can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Also, if a thin film of mild detergent is left on louvers, it will eliminate static electricity.
Fabric Louvers: Require only periodic vacuuming. For soiled fabrics, we recommend a gradual progression through the following: 1) Let the soil dry and try to gently pick it off the fabric. 2) Gently scrub with warm water. 3) Gently scrub with warm water and a mild detergent such as dishwashing liquid.
Scotchgard(R) Treated Fabrics: Brighton, Lucia, Paradise, Taylor - All are treated with Scotchgard(R) fabric protector and require only periodic vacuuming.

Graber Verticals
Warranty
Louvers (vinyl or fabric) are warrantied for three (3) years.
Headrails: Perfect-Vue, Ultra-Vue, and G-71 Super-Vue headrails have a limited lifetime warranty.
Valances: the Stay-Clear Channel Panel and Valance products have a limited lifetime warranty.

Springs Window Fashions warrants all vertical blinds against original defects in materials or workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product provided that (1) the product was properly installed in a residential dwelling,(2) the product was made or assembled exclusively from Springs Window Fashions materials and components, (3) Springs Window Fashions recommendations were followed with regard to limitations and specifications.

The obligations of Springs Window Fashions and it's licensed fabricators and distributors are limited to the repair or replacement of the parts or product found to be defective. Springs Window Fashions and it's licensed fabricators and distributors are not responsible for transportation costs or labor costs for measuring, taking the blind down or reinstalling the product. If repairs are made under this warranty, the repairs will be made with like or similar parts.

This warranty does not cover conditions or damages caused by accidents, alterations, misuse, or failure to follow instructions for measurement, installation, cleaning or maintenance. In addition, normal wear and tear are not covered by the warranty.

All fabrics can lose original intensity after long exposure to the sun. When left for extended periods in direct sunlight, plastics tend to yellow or crack. All cords will eventually wear out. Springs Window Fashions considers these things normal wear and tear and are not covered by this warranty.
Fabrics vary from lot to lot and may not exactly match sample swatch or previous purchases.

Wear and tear parts are not covered under the warranty. String are covered for a period of 1 year. After the first year, the consumer is responsible for shipping any product back to the manufacturer. Most repair cost will be covered under the warranty.

Rubbing with a dry cloth can scratch the slats and create a dust magnet. Use a mild soap or detergent such as Joy, Palmolive or Top Job heavily diluted with lukewarm water. Apply the solution to a soft cloth, then wipe the slats. Do not spray cleaner directly on the slats. Rinse with clean water and blot dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners, glass cleaners, benzene, acetone, paint thinners or other strong solvents.
