Color Accuracy:
Although we do our best to make sure that the colors printed on our web site
are accurate, actual colors will vary. In addition, subtle color differences and textures may not
be fully appreciated on some systems due to differences in monitors and/or display cards. Due to the
fact that our products are all custom made, and can't be returned, you need to be sure that you can live
with any color variations that are possible from our scanning of the actual samples. If an exact
color match is required, then please request a sample before placing your order. Once you receive
your sample, keep in mind that all samples may still have minimal color variations as stated by the
manufacturers. In addition to the above considerations regarding color, we'd like to suggest that you
order all of your blinds of a given color at one time. There are sometimes slight variations between
dye lots.
Fabric Back lighting:
"Back lighting" happens when light filters in through translucent fabrics
from behind. Our swatches don't show you the effect of back lighting, which can soften colors and
highlight fabric textures. If you'd like to see how back lighting affects the color or texture
of a particular material go visit your nearest retailer or request a sample from us.

What is online security - When you place
orders all of your information is processed through our secure server. Blinds.com utilizes
industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology that encrypts all your information before it is
sent to us. If you would prefer not to place your order online simply call us at the phone number at the
top-right of this page and a customer service representative will take it for you.
Your Private Information WILL Remain Confidential
We respect your privacy. All personal information you provide to us WILL
remain absolutely confidential and be used solely to communicate better with you. We have never and
will never share your information with anyone.
Window Measurements:
For both inside and outside mounts the finished measurements of the window treatment are from the
top of the headrail to the bottom of the bottomrail (or in the case of verticals the bottom of the
vanes) for the height. The width is from the left edge of the window treatment to the right edge.
Inside mount
An inside mount fits within the window frame. On inside mounts specific deductions are taken by the
factory for operating clearance. These deductions vary for each manufacturer and each product and are
only approximate deductions. For more specific details please go to to the product page for the product
you are interested in on our site before completing your order.
Outside mount
An outside mount overlaps the window opening. Allowances are not taken by the manufacturer on this
product. This is because you will need to supply us the exact measurements that you would like the
window treatment to be. This includes adding extra for the width and the height to clear any trim etc if

Payment Options:
Since all window treatments from Blinds.com are custom made to your specifications, all orders are
paid for when your order is placed. Visa, Mastercard and American Express are accepted online. Cashier's
checks, personal checks and money orders must be mailed to our office before your order is started.
All orders paid by check will require a holding period of 5-7 days for your check to clear before the
order will be put into production.
Radio Price Guarantee:
On some radio advertisements, we advertise that we will beat published Home Improvement Store prices for identical items or the item is free. If you find a lower price on an identical brand-name item, please notify us with a written quote or advertisement and we'll beat the price. This offer is only applicable prior to a purchase. It is not a guarantee that every item on our site will be priced lower than published Home Improvement Store prices, it only requires that we beat the price for you when notified and given the opportunity to do so.
Changes, Cancellations and Refunds:
Because our products are custom made to your exact specifications, they are not suitable for resale
in the ordinary course of business. Therefore, it is important that you are sure of your purchase
decisions prior to finalizing your order. We place your order with the manufacturer and automatically
charge your credit card for the total sale price, including shipping, immediately after you complete
your online order. Unless there is a delay in placing your order because we need additional information
from you, an order received from you for in stock materials before 4 P.M. Eastern Standard Time will
normally begin production the morning of the next day.
Cancellations and Changes in orders can only be made for a period of 12 hours after your online order
is finalized. All cancellations and changes effected during this 12 hour period will be subject to a manufacturer's
restocking charge, where applicable, and a Blinds.com 6% administrative charge. In the event that you
cancel your order during this 12 hour period, Blinds.com will refund your money minus the manufacturer's
restocking charge, where applicable, and the Blinds.com 6% administrative charge. Under no
circumstance will Blinds.com either refund any money or issue any credits for a credit card purchase if
the cancellation or change occurs at any time beyond this 12 hour period.
On extremely rare occasions there may be delays caused by out-of-stock materials, shipping delays,
temporary factory overload, holidays, or other factors beyond the control of Blinds.com and its
associates. In the event of a known delay, when the manufacturer contacts us you will be contacted that
day. Blinds.com reserves the right to reject any order, at its discretion.
Discontinued and/or Back Ordered Items:
Blinds.com has no control over products that are discontinued or placed on backorder by the various
manufacturers. Blinds.com will make every effort to remove discontinued items as soon as we are made
aware of them and will notify you whenever we receive notice of any backorders. Also see
"Delivery Times" noted below.
Shipping Information:
Shipping Methods & Charges: - We offer free shipping via United Parcel Service(UPS) and/or
FedEx within the 48 contiguous United States. As long as the product(s) you order are less than 94" wide. For
the fastest service possible, we ship most products directly FOB from the manufacturing facility located
closest to you. If your package is too large to ship by UPS or FedEx, we will ship it FOB the
manufacturer's facility via freight carrier, usually to your front door. For shutters please view the
table below. The following shipping charges apply to all orders that are 94" wide and/or long and up:
Multiple Shipments - Different types of window treatments are often made in different
manufacturing facilities. For the fastest delivery, we ship each product to you as soon as it is ready.
That way, you'll have your order as soon as possible!
Shipping to Alaska & Hawaii - The estimated cost for ground shipping to Alaska is $30 per blind. 2-day service to Alaska is estimated at $60 per blind, and 1-day service is estimated at $90 per blind.The estimated cost for ground shipping to Hawaii is $50 per blind, 2-day service to Hawaii is estimated at $100 per blind, and 1-day service is estimated at $150 per blind. Because we need to obtain your approval before confirming these charges, orders will be held until we have that approval. This applies even on one-day products. Consider purchasing Levolor or Bali Brand products, as your ground shipping charges to AK or HI will only be $35 total ($50 for Bali) for widths under 108" and 200 lb, and $85 total for larger orders!

Delivery Times - Delivery times given are estimates based on normal production and shipping
times. Delivery times may vary depending on the product. Therefore, please
e-mail for a better estimate of delivery times. The
estimated delivery times include working days after our receipt of your completed order and exclude
weekends, holidays and factory closing days. On occasions, there may also be delays caused by
out-of-stock merchandise, inventory-taking, temporary factory overload, or other unforseen problems.
Blinds.com cannot be responsible for shipping delays caused by problems which are beyond its reasonable
control.
What is Order Processing?
Due to an increase in our processing costs (e.g. credit card fees, package handling, etc.) we had to regrettably institute a price adjustment for
processing and handling orders. Our flat rate is now $4.95 per order, which represents only a fraction of our actual handling costs. We also do not
charge for shipping, which costs us considerably more than the $4.95. We appreciate your business. Please be assured that we will always strive to
bring you the lowest blinds prices, with superior quality and service.
Sales Tax:
Since we are based in Texas, we collect 8.25% sales tax on all orders shipped to Texas addresses.
Blinds.com will not impose a sales tax on orders that are delivered outside of the state of Texas unless
such taxes are imposed on Internet sales by law.

Inspection of Merchandise:

that the products you ordered were made exactly as you specified when you ordered them. If you notify
Blinds.com that the merchandise has been damaged in shipment or was made incorrectly within 7 days of
the date that the merchandise is delivered to you, Blinds.com will have the damaged merchandise either
repaired or replaced at no cost to you. If you do not notify Blinds.com that the merchandise has been
damaged in shipment during this 7 day period, Blinds.com will not repair or replace the damaged
merchandise at no cost to you. All damaged shipments must be signed for as damaged.

Global Custom Commerce LP does not manufacture any of the products sold through this site. Express Warranties with respect to the blinds/shades you are purchasing from Blinds.com are provided
to you directly by the manufacturer of these products and are incorporated into your order. To read the

Do I Need to Buy Hardware or Screws?
All hardware is provided with the possible exception of screws. This is due to the fact that
differing screws are needed in differing applications. In most applications a #6 x 1 1/2" screw is
appropriate. However, the exact length and type of screw will vary depending on whether you are mounting
your treatments into drywall, wood, concrete or metal. As a result many companies do not send mounting
screws with your order. If you find no screws came with your order you will need to purchase some. As a
rule of thumb you can assume two screws per bracket and 2 or 3 brackets per treatment. |
