I highly recommend this shade and will buy them for my other bedroom's as well. It looks clean and neat while blocking the hot sun and helps keep the room cool for sleeping." With this shade it is not interesting to them and we did the continuous cord loop fastened to the wall so they could not hurt themselves. We can have it partially up for a little light and still have privacy or all the wall down for insulation and total privacy. We just are almost done remodeling and we love these as they allow us the benefit of viewing the full window when open. You can purchase a valance, but my husband will make ours to hide the roller on top. This is our second purchase from Blinds.com and I recommend them to everyone." This lets in too much light around the blind, and also over the top of the blind even with a valance installed. We had lined curtains that blocked out more light than this. Working 3rd shift and sleeping during the day, I was attempting to blacken the room, it is dark but curtains did a better job." Got the shade via UPS about 2 weeks ago and easily installed it in about 30 minutes. Color is great (copper) and the reflection problems are solved. All good here."
