They look great and do the job fantastically. The only hitch is that the installation instructions were just wrong. I had to install the brackets twice because of that and followed up with patching and cleanup. My advice to anyone else is buy these great blinds but measure more than twice before installing." They really do cut down on the heat from the sun on our west facing screened in porch. The only improvement I can think of is that the location of the tension device should be included in your order specifications. We have railing on our porch and the cord goes below the top rail making it difficult to install the tension device properly. We should have had an option as to the length of the cord, since the cord cannot be shortened so that the tension device could be installed above the rail." Custom cut shades delivered within two weeks. Measurements were perfect. It was quite a challenge to get the brackets hung and get the valance cover on the shade but in the end it looks great. The shades are well made, look very durable. They also do a great job of filtering the morning sun. Very happy with the end result." No picture or mention of the piece that goes over the blinds so we had to figure out for ourselves how to do it. Besides missing a picture and being small font, the way manual printed annoying since the English and Spanish pages mixed together." Ordered shades to fit between deck posts to have a custom / inside mount look. Am thrilled with appearance - very tailored and clean look. Was concerned the black color would absorb heat - not the case. The material allows us to see our golf course view and allows breeze to flow nicely while doing an excelllent job providing the needed shade to what was an intolerably hot location in late afternoon. Great solution. The only appearance item I would note is that we reversed the valance from what is standard. The design did not cover the roller adequately. I couldn't use the valance brackets on one of two blinds because the blind was slightly wider than it should have been. The blinds were wrapped well for shipping, including all the bubble wrap. However the cardboard and bubble wrap did not prevent some dents and bends on the valances."
