It took forever to get these blinds. They installed easily. After being up for about one hour, the blind separated from the head rail. I had to wait another couple weeks to receive a replacement. The second set took about two weeks before the blinds separated from the head rail again. These blinds are in a window where they don't get pulled up or down. They were not abused in any way. They were hardly even used. Stay away from these cheap blinds." The double cell stopped the draft through the room. The room is much warmer with no draft and cooler with no baking sunlight. The blinds simply glow with the filtered sunlight through them. They are opaque but don't make the room feel darkened at all. They look serene and zen." One of the brackets was defective and we broke a second one. The company promptly sent us two to replace them, but the package broke and one fell out during shipping. We are still awaiting the second bracket so we can hang the third shade. Now that we know what we are doing, I would say it is will be pretty easy to hang the 3rd shade. My major concern is that the pull to open/close the shades is very poorly made. Within a few uses both of the pulls have broken. One was easily put back together. The other remains broken and I am considering returning the shades. I hate to do this, because other than the broken pull, they look pretty good." The process was simple - placing the order was straightforward and the blinds exceeded my expectation. They look great - best of all my great room and kitchen are appreciably warmer in the morning. Have 9 windows in my kitchen - facing east - so at night I let all the blinds down - and in morning when sun comes up I open them and kitchen and great room really warm up quickly. No more shivers at night in either room - it really helps with the cold air and my electric bill already looks better this month. Wholeheartedly recommend thse blinds. They look great and, except for a measuring error on my part, fit perfectly. Your staff helped me with my error and I anticipate finishing the job in a week or so. If I could change one thing it would be the time it takes to complete an order. I previously was the co-owner of Bridgerland Blinds and your blinds were very popular; but customers struggled with the lengthy lead times compared to your competitors. However, your customer service has significantly improved since those days so keep up the good work."
