Considerations:
Shades are available with a valance or with no valance. Standard shades feature a 6” valance and sit closer to the window, perfect for enhanced room-darkening. Without a valance the fabric extends gracefully over the headrail, creating a modern silhouette and providing extra clearance for window trims or handles.
Shades ordered without a valance include a back valance to maintain a polished look and conceal shade components.
Continuous cord lift options come with safety tensioners that must be installed to meet safety standards and ensure proper operation.
Motorization hubs offer seamless connectivity up to 100 feet—ideal for multi-story homes (one hub recommended per floor)—and come with all necessary cables for easy setup.
Most fabrics require vertical seaming when ordered wider than 48". Shades that require seaming will have two outer panels that are smaller and one larger center panel.
Colman and Maria fabrics are available in wide widths and do not require vertical seaming.
