SouthSeas Light Filtering Roller Shades offer several options for upgrading their look and function to meet your unique needs. The color coordinated, plastic, beaded chain is standard.

Valances add a finished look. For a compact, integrated top-of-the-window treatment, a cassette is another finishing option. Choose from fabric insert square corner valance, large fabric insert cassette , or aluminum fascia valance in 3'' or 4''.
Customize your lift with a beaded chain, which is great for lifting heavier or larger-scale shades; cordless, a hassle-free option that eliminates the possibility of cord entanglement; and motorization, which makes lifting your shades as easy as pressing a remote control.
If you would like the fabric of your shade to feed from the top rather than from the back so it can pass in front of an obstruction, specify a reverse roll
For a streamlined look, choose one of our hembar upgrades to coordinate your shade with more of your decor.
Considerations:
Light-Filtering fabrics allow soft light to filter through during the day but will also create shadows to the street side at night. For night time privacy, consider the SouthSeas Blackout Roller Shades.
Inside-mounted roller shades will have an approximate 1" vertical "light gap" between the edge of the fabric and the window casing the cord-loop side and a 5/8" light gap on the other side to make room for the shade's operating mechanisms.
We recommend ordering samples with this product, due to varying opacity and privacy levels.
Motorization is controlled by a wand that requires 8 Lithium Ion batteries.
