These Roman shades are crafted with painstaking attention to detail and include design touches like double turned hems, color matched threads, and fabric wrapped headrails that add to their custom look and feel. You’ll find a unique fabric selection with sophisticated textures and jacquards, all offered in colors selected for current design trends. The collection’s ordering and customization options are designed with your experience in mind. Choose from Flat, Hobbled, Knife Pleated, or Front Slat shade styles. Flat, Front Slat, and Knife Pleat shades rise in folds and lower into a flat panel. Hobbled shades rise in folds and include fabric hobbles that maintain the shade’s folded look when lowered.

All shade styles come standard with light-filtering liner or can be upgraded to black-out. The collection’s fabrics offer seamless fabrication in all shade styles.

We Recommend

• Light-filtering liners are standard for Fabric Roman Shades and will allow soft light into the room. Black-out liners have a room-darkening effect and will not allow light through the front of the shade.

• For a fuss-free installation, we recommend ordering knife pleat or front slat shade styles. These styles have fabric ribs sewn into pockets on either the front or back of the shade, which allows the shade to have more structure when it is raised and lowered.

• Cordless and motorized controls are recommended for ease of use. Both cordless and motorized controls are operated without the use of hanging cords or cord loops, making them a sophisticated style choice that is a safer option for homes with children and pets.

• Remote control motors can be paired with our automated hub for control through smart phones and select smart home technologies that include Amazon Alexa, Control4, Google Home, IFTTT, RTI, Samsung Smart Things, and Siri Short Cuts.

Considerations

• Shades can be ordered in Standard or Waterfall style.

• Standard style will have shade fabric coming off the back of the head rail, with a 6” valance on the front of the shade. This means the shade will be closer to the window when installed, making standard style a good option for rooms that require room-darkening.

• Waterfall style will have shade fabric coming off the front of the shade head rail. This means the shade will be further from the window when installed, making Waterfall style a good option if extra space is required between the shade and the window (example: clearing trim or window handles).

• Motorized shades are powered by a rechargeable motor. The motor charge generally lasts 3 – 6 months, with recharging required after 300 up/down cycles. Motors can be controlled by a wand that hangs to the side of the shade or by a multi-channel remote control.

Child Safety Information

Cordless or Motorized controls are recommended for homes with children and pets. All other versions of this product have cords that may be accessible and pose a strangulation hazard.
